About Me

Anthony Chiappone (he/him) is a composer, conductor, and double bassist from Rochester, New York. He has his BM in Composition and Film and Media Scoring from the Berklee College of Music (Spring 2025), and is pursuing his MM in Composition from the New England Conservatory.
His music has been described as "darkly refreshing," exploring the intersectionalities of film and concert music. He offers a fresh approach to his music, while also drawing inspiration from romantic and impressionistic concert music.
As well as being an active composer, Anthony is also a passionate music instructor. He has been teaching a wide variety of topics, including composition, orchestration, instrumentation, conducting, score preparation, music theory, harmony, and many more. Prior teaching opportunities include freelance lessons (currently accepting new students!) and also as a student tutor for Berklee's core music classes.
